I was young and stupid when I got it, and now that I’m old and dumb...I can appreciate it even more.

Circa 1998, I bought a Crate Blue Voodoo 100 watt head and 4x12 cab. since I had GAS for it once I saw it. Damn thing fit in my Toyota Camry. Got it home and set it up in what used to be my dining room, but was now my practice room. Cranked to about 4 and hit an A power chord, shook the whole damn house. For days I was straightening pictures hanging on the wall in every room. It was WAY OVERKILL for anything I was going to be doing. Sold it about 6 months later.

I am putting the finishing touches on the setup of my Gibson CS336 after crafting a new bone nut and giving it a nice buffing

It would be near impossible to watch @dmatthews parade of PRS beauties without grabbing one if you got it to grab. So tonight I adorn the first PRS I acquired, a Custom 24 Artist Package, a/k/a Mona Linda

OK, Ok, I pulled Elumi (ebony board with alumnitone pups) out of move storage. She has some of the nicest clean tones, very articulate and clear.

Check out this guitar on the PRS SC245 neck pickup. It is recorded using the emulation out of my Marshall JVM on the "amber" setting (very low gain/mild crunch). Such a sweet tone from such an inexpensive guitar with an expensive pickup.
