Beautiful!! Such a neat and tidy flame!
Don't say that, but I understand how you feel. So many people to worry about, and all I can do to help is to stay away from themThat Gibson RO sounds fantastic RVA.great playin. Speakin of Morbid, ive cleaned my whole house so if i keel over it will be presentable when thsy come to haul me off. Hopefully that wont happen.
Nice. So your buddy leaves a guitar and gets a fret level? Not a bad deal!!Nice job Ray! I love getting to hear what you guys are doing with the down time.
Everytime I pickup a guitar now, I zone out and never think to record it. Just me and the jam - and then back to reality.
I've got no Les Pauls, no Firebirds, no SGs, no PRS...
But I do have a buddy's Jazzmaster for a while

Frost metallic is what I think they call this color. Needs a fret level, but its not too bad. Maybe I'll actually get to that soon...
I love these new Fender cases but they're heavy.
I know. I need to watch less news and more sitcomsWhy i shut my TV off a couple days ago RVA,nothin but doom and gloom. Im kidding about the keelin over but with all the crap on TV you cant help but think about it.Especially states like New York and close to me Washington state hit hard.
So are you!it's the least I could do. He is a good dude.
Very cool guitar! The wear looks authentic.Had to prop this one up on the bench yesterday. Hadnt played it in about a year and figured I'd pull it out to refamiliarize myself. LTD GL-256.

It had really low output and awful buzz that wasn't there when I did the frets last year so that threw me for a loop. Touching the humbucker cover made it jump in volume, but the buzz was unbearable. I think maybe the humbucker could have a short in it since after finagling it a bit and checking all the joints it suddenly stopped and I couldn't make it happen again, so bonus. The singles are hot!

I'm going to replace the crappy PCB switch, maybe with a superswitch, not sure yet.
The neck is the real prize. I couldn't believe it was quartersawn....this is a MIC! Medium jumbos and plays incredibly fast. Pure delight.
So that was my muse yesterday. Sounded great thru the new pedalboard config. The @ivan H TB slays when boosting into the Analogman modded DS1. I set the Boss sorta dark to get a creamy meat tone and with the Strat 2 and 4 position the TB boosts it into a hard mid-focused lead tone that's very Hendrixy. This TB is easily the best boost pedal I've ever played.
This is the combination to unlock the tone in my head:
