My daughter and son were born in Nov. '94 and '95; busy times putting everything/ everyone else first.
Just started to think about my own needs and happiness again in late 2014; when I started learning guitar.
ANd in the last few years the wife and I have started going to concerts.
Next week, and then the week after, we have The Rolling Stones and Chris Stapleton on deck.
Will do the casinos out here are the place for thatWe have a smaller venue within 40 min drive, as well as theaters at the Atlantic City casinos that has a lot of the "older" band tours, usually reasonably priced.
Missed Meatloaf; we shoulda went.
Saw the poster for him leaving the theater after Paul Rodgers Band. Great show. I almost cried.
We go and stay sober and enjoy the show.
I was shocked Bob Seger tickets were pretty pricey and the timing didnt work out; I would have liked to have seen him.
It is something we actively do together to make ( something I always look for to escape the day to day rat race and problems) quality time, beyond the usual, and still amazing, intimate time. Quotes Townsend "I still see rays of light, every time".
Might want to look around; it is easy to enjoy the show without the excesses of our youth!
