The Muse I Adorn

That's a great looking black LP you have Ray. Looks almost like my black 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I have my SG pick ups in the LP now. I'll take some pictures after and post it up. How much did you pay for yours? And is R0 for 1960?

Thanks! Yes, it is a Gibson vos 1960 Historic Reissue. It was back in the day when I thought custom shop guitars were the only way to go, and it was expensive. I do not regret it though. It is an exceptional guitar.

It sure is an exceptional guitar...I can tell the pick up covers on yours looks aged which is cool. I like it very much with the amber knobs and you even have the control knob pointers on for quick reference. Here are some older pictures of my Epiphone LP. I have a pick guard for it now and some other cosmetic changes...nothing drastic. I got this guitar at a pawn shop for $500 that included a hard shell SKB case made in Orange, California. It was one of the best deals and the guitar was in fairly good shape for a used instrument. I definitely wanted it at the time.

That is sweet! Get that out of storage and plug it in!

That's a nice axe Blackie!! And in you're favorite colour too!!

It sure is and it was about the same price as the Godin and from the same pawn shop where I got the Godin guitar. You never know what you'll find at pawn shops and some guitars there are real gems. I'm still thinking about that Godin LGX guitar with the ebony fret board. I had a chance the other day to play it and the fret board feels awesome. I can't afford it now so it's available. I think it's still at the pawn shop so if you ever want to drive to Oshawa and pick it up for $895 get it before it's gone me friend.:)

there is a story behind the FENDER neck mounted like a TROUT on the wall there.............................
GIVE!
That’s the original neck from my 83/4 Fender Standard Stratocaster. Not much left for frets... I was young, and foolish....and played though most of the first five frets on it. I brought it in for a refret around 2002...they gave me the Blackmore style scalloped neck to test drive instead...I test drove it...I liked it...they said keep it...I did. Someday, I’d like to fix it up again, and move the Blackmore scalloped neck to another guitar...someday.
