The Muse I Adorn

YOU have got OTHER amps WITH tone knobs --- dont play "coy" with me --- the Epiphone needs a florida vacation

It lives close to my recliner....where it belongs.
I happen to like the volume only. No guess work...just use the guitar tone.
That’s why it’s one, of two, “go to” amps in my living room right now.

so whats #2?
I keep meaning to score a little Epi like that -- but never have--- and now w/ 2
Custom locally conceived OWEGITONE 5 watter and the Panama 5 watter....I doubt one is in my future

hows that little speaker get on? or do you run it to a cab?
Now that it’s broken in, the on board speaker is pretty sweet. Yes, I run it through the 1X12 WGS ET65 loaded cab, that also lives in my living room, from time to time. Depends on how I’m feeling.

Actually I stole these images off of the web because the pics of mine are from my cell phone that look like they came from the KP School of Photography. That is the same model, just not the actual guitar. I plan to do a photo shoot with a real camera in the not too distant future.

You have this one on the way Don?

Yep Ray. :D I pick it up at UPS on Wednesday. 2 others are on their way too, a second PRS SE Custom 24 and a 1989 Fender CS Strat. Just ordered some tubes and fuses for the Mesa.

The end of March can't get here soon enough....

Pics from Reverb since they ain't here yet. The ebony fret board on the Strat pushed me over the top.

The PRS:

Excellent condition guitar. Mohagany body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, creme binding, direct fit locking tuners, Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups. The electronics are upgraded. Cts push pull pots, coil tap front pickup on volume knob, coil tap bridge pickup on tone knob. Orange drop capacitor, Oak Grigsby 3 way selector switch, Switchcraft input jack. Tusq nut. 46-9 strings

2 beauties! The Strat has some nice figuring from what I can see. Lace Sensor pickups?

My current neck luggage (<<<<I like that!). PRS Studio. I swapped out the covered 57/08 in the bridge, which I found too bright, for a Vintage Bass (yesm I know it is a neck pup, but it works). I added a push/pull on the volume to add the bridge to positions 4 and 5 (start configuration). I made this sound sample about a year ago just to demonstate how it sounded with the new pup.

The clip goes:
-Neck (vol 10)
-Neck (vol 6)
-Neck/Bridge (vol 10)
-Neck/Bridge (vol 6)
-Neck/Middle (vol 10)
