The Most Hilarious Gibson Bashing Video I've Ever Seen!

Well, I spent most of last night's session playing along to the rhythm parts to Highway to Hell, Rock and Roll Singer, Girl's Got Rhythm, and still trying to get the swagger and string ring outs right for You Shook Me All Night Long, as well as stumbling through parts of The Rover and Since I've Been Loving You. My flailing at Whole Lotta Love never sounds quite right either, GRRR.

I'm open to listening to new(er) music, but don't really put the time in.

I usually have to hear something a few times - within the stuff I usually like - to decide if I really dig it.
Took a few listens to some MSG and Scorpions Lonesome Crow to get there recently.
Really more of a study of Schenker's playing, but digging it as a listener as well.

Simply Awesome

So, I just installed the Spotify app on my phone.

I did a search for "modern indie music".

There's actually a Modern Indie playlist on Spotify that updates weekly. I've got it running now.

I don't recognize a single name on this list...which I'm glad to see!

Interested in seeing what's there.

I've listened through about ten songs that were the first in order on the Spotify playlist.

First impressions?

Some of the songs are pretty creative. Also, I notice a lot of the guitar work is very clean or only mildly overdriven and uses a lot of chorus pedal.

Still listening....
