It's spose to be funI basically find songs a vehicle over which I can get my rocks off playing the hell out of a guitar!!
Considering the venues we play and what we do just having fun, I am not out to put Shakespeare to music. Just play whatever and feel good about it at the end of the night.
Noodling wankery is totally ok by me!

This is country and blues, if you can't bear to listen to this you hate musicThats what i meant by "Don't need to" but I will absolutely defend musicians against a blanket statement of mediocrity. I can't bear to listen to Country or Blues, but that in no way means that I will say they are mediocre or somehow less talented than the musicians whose music I do listen to. Public opinion is the reason we even know who these people are, whether we as individuals like them, or we don't.
That is sort of a blanket statement as well, not all tastes are for everyone. I love music. I hate country, this seems sort of old time RnR blues based. Something inside me cringes when I hear "real" country music. This is country and blues, if you can't bear to listen to this you hate music
Fair enough, but a good song is a good song and that is a great song. That is sort of a blanket statement as well, not all tastes are for everyone. I love music. I hate country, this seems sort of old time RnR blues based. Something inside me cringes when I hear "real" country music.
Some people call rap music, I don't. I find it detestable. Doesn't mean I hate music in general.

The Crows were the sheet but UO for me was good stuff but a near miss for me. Really good though. In my personal opinion, 'Southern Harmony...' is the greatest album of the '90s, taken as a whole. Close second is Urge Overkill's 'Saturation'

Tell me Dwight can't change your mind a bit? That is sort of a blanket statement as well, not all tastes are for everyone. I love music. I hate country, this seems sort of old time RnR blues based. Something inside me cringes when I hear "real" country music.

Lmao I won't go into any details but let's just say that the subject matter of this song is very relatable to some family members of mine to this dayC'mon tell me this isn't a good tune

Haha exactly! Especially the kind of mandolin that needs a lot of sugar, corn, yeast boiled within itIt's good to have an open mind, watch this guy if you never saw him before

Lol would gladly. Unfortunately, this particular "mandolin" can't be shipped thru the mail. But if you ever find yourself near the western border of Virginia at some point, I could certainly arrange itHook a brother up?
