Saw Rob H. at a bar in Phoenix, with his solo band, do that scream live.I was hoping this one would find it's way here. :dood:
From ten feet away. Truly spine tingling.

That whole album is KILLER
No filler on that one, for sure. That whole album is KILLER
Oh hell yeah! All four are kickass and cool you shouted out Fred Sonic Smith's band! Hellacopters are great, greasy garage band and of course, the legendary Schenker in both acts: On and On is one of the most kickass songs outside of the UFO workA bunch of good suggestions. Some have me scratching my head. As Mike said, it's all in your interpretation.
Here are a few of my choices, but then that could change on a whim.
I got to catch Rob Halford with his solo band, Halford ( Resurrection album) opening for Queensryche ( Q2K/ Live Evolution album) with Iron Maiden (Brave New World album) headlining a show at Blossom Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio back in 2000. Buddy came in from the Air Force in Colorado to attend my brother's wedding and had an extra ticket. Beforehand, we snuck off and ran up to see it and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, especially for like $35 lolSaw Rob H. at a bar in Phoenix, with his solo band, do that scream live.

One of the cool things in the old Halford bands was Russ their lead guitarist.I got to catch Rob Halford with his solo band, Halford ( Resurrection album) opening for Queensryche ( Q2K/ Live Evolution album) with Iron Maiden (Brave New World album) headlining a show at Blossom Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio back in 2000. Crazy that you had 3 of the most powerful voices in metal all in a row and all playing the hits
Yep! Ol Russ Parrish was his first guitarist in Fight. Such a long way from Satchels look today lmaoOne of the cool things in the old Halford bands was Russ their lead guitarist.
We know him now as Satchel from Steel Panther. That man can play, really think he's talented on multi-levels. Player, writer, teacher etc..

Just an insane amount of talent- IMHO YMMV etc...Yep! Ol Russ Parrish was his first guitarist in Fight. Such a long way from Satchels look today lmao

Russ/Satchel is definitely a criminally underrated guitarist. Yeah, he's funny as hell and has the best childish toilet humor in the market lol but he is also a fantastic player who can do a ton of styles perfectly. Kind of a modern day Frank Zappa, in some manner if you think about it.Just an insane amount of talent- IMHO YMMV etc...
Being able to pull off the playing he does, backed up with an actual education, a teacher.
Plus....... he gets to be Satchel and I don't Lol.
Was also Paul Gilberts roomate back in his GIT days. People diss him for the "comedy" rock. They sell him short to be sure.
It's a downright crime how overlooked and important UFO are to hard rock and metal. One of the most influential bands in that area of all timeSome music gets forgotten. Many records didn't make the big time status but there are songs among them that deserve to be heard. Only audio but these are great tunes.
I wonder if his bandmates know what his shirt says.Yep! Ol Russ Parrish was his first guitarist in Fight. Such a long way from Satchels look today lmao

Not to fluent in Deustch, but....good ol Google Translate came thru and yeah I seriously doubt they got that either lmaoI wonder if his bandmates know what his shirt says.![]()
My fave Mettalica song, this ep kicked ass for sure. When Metallica first released their Garage Days EP, I wore out the cassette (remember those!). The one song on that EP that really pumped up my youthful soul was The Small Hours. It had this atmosphere to it at the start and just built up from there.
Now if you excuse me, I need to go start a mosh pit in the warehouse somewhere with some of my employees.
