Yeah, you'd think with only eleven wires to connect it would be easy, but NOOOO!
The harness had two sets of green & black and red & white wires, the pickups had the same color wires.
So just connect color to color and rock.
Nope. Nothing.
Then came the process of trial & error, one wire at a time.
The fact that all the wire terminations on the harness were covered in blue epoxy like goop didn't help figuring what went where.
By the time I was done, the pattern looked like an algebraic equation.
G+W & B+R and R+B & W+G = TONE
Then I made a beer run, as I was out of the golden nectar at this point.

Here's your review.
This was a premade harness from Jersey Shore Guitar Garage for a Les Paul / SG application, or so it said.
I bought it secondhand off FleaBay for cheap, years ago, but when I got it I found out that the pushpulls had a very short barrel.
They were for pickguard mount, not body mount. So I couldn't use them for the SG that I had in mind.
But the harness was cheap enough that instead of the hassle of a return, I just tossed it in a drawer for later.
Later came when I was thinking about what to do with this Peavey guitar.
Now on to the review...
The harness works.
The 25 tome thing is a bit of misleading B.S. in my opinion, but I suppose you could rationalize it.
So here's what it does.
Both volumes are coil cuts with the push pulls. Works as intended.
Neck tone push pull puts both humbuckers in series. Louder, fuller and a useful position. Also works with pickups split.
Bridge tone push pull is a phase reversal, that gives the hollow OOP sound. (these last two features only work with both pickups in middle position)
Does it sound good? Yes, sounds great. All the tone the guitar originally had plus a few extra tricks.
Would I recommend it? Sure, it's a time saver, as opposed to wiring each switch separately.
Would I buy it again? Yes, but only from the builder, to make sure it was the right one.
One thing that I don't like about is that the volumes are not independant.
This drives me bonkers, and with the harness epoxied up, there's little chance of me correcting this.
Or is there... Hmmm, I'm not doing anything else today.
