The Genie Grants you 3 Concerts ...

Past, present, or future. It's like a magic movie theatre and each door enters into the actual show and its real point in time. You walk down the hall passing show by show, each one labeled on the solid non windowed door with muffled concert sounds that can be heard from behind it. Which 1 ...2 ....then 3 do you stop at and enter? It can be a specific or random concert.

1 - The Doors - When the Music's over.
2 - Kiss - Destroyer.
3 - Motley Crue - Pre famous at the Country Club in LA.

Oh, you get one bonus too!

4 - AC/DC - Let there be Rock.

Wow!!! You’ve been a busy boy!!

Almost all my fantasy concerts I attended. I will list my top 3 actual ones then my dream ones mostly past or far distance from me, so these were obviously impossible to go to.

Motorhead, Ronnie James Dio and Iron Maiden triple bill at Meriwether Post Pavilion
All my Rush concerts in MD, Syracuse NY and Virginia BUT if I had been old enough to know of RUSH back during this concert and my Genie made it possible to have gone, I would sure have liked to have seen these tours

Rolling Rock Town Fairs 2000 and 2001.
Bonus shows. UFO Molly Hatchet and MSG both at that small club in White Marsh MD.

Now for dream past and far shows.

Zep, Isle of Wight, Cal Jam, Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo days at San Antonio TX, Priest (Unleashed in the East)

Happy the Man
Gypsy Kings
Indigo Girls

So lets see..... Named my fantasy concerts I'd have liked to be at. See if I can remember the ones I did make. And compared... its a relatively short list. In no particular order.

  • Gatlin Bros. - Reba McIntyre opened for them. She was absolutely a no name then. Hand full of years later she was winning Entertainer of The Year awards
  • Jesus Christ SuperStar.... Twice I believe.
  • Rare Earth @ Western Illinois University with a bunch of friends that were attending college there. A group called Murphy's Law opened. They marched up to the stage behind a bagpipe. Then got down to business. Actually were pretty good.
  • REO Speedwagon - multiple times. Cheap Trick opened for them first time. Damn Yankees another time.
  • Moody Blues. once. My bride saw them twice. Her turn was with the Quad City Symphony.
  • Heart - Black Crowes opened.
  • Neil Young twice
  • CSN
  • Yes twice. Once in a big venue. Second time @ Chicago House of Blues
  • Emerson, Lake and Palmer twice. Once solo. Second time with Jethro Tull
  • Mannheim Steamroller Christmas concert, twice
  • The Christian group Petra..... performing on a flatbed trailer in our church's drive. They were basically a garage band at the time. Never got huge.... but they did get get known by the Christian masses.

My youngest played in two groups. Just out of HS a garage band called Two Dollars and his Senior spring semester at University of Illinois filled in for the bass player in a group called The Pitch.
