The Ergonomics Of A Les Paul Guitar...

Here's a video on the '59 burst Les Paul guitar estimated to be worth around $750,000.00. I wish I could travel back in time and buy a whole whack of them bursts and then travel back to the future and become an instant millionaire!:celebrate2:

Now, I been considering a "Buckethead" size Les Paul body, mated to a EDS-1275 neck in 24.75" scale. I might be more tolerant of a Les Paul if it was larger...upper fret access is still an issue to be dealt with...

Robert, have you played an Axcess model? They have a shaved heel and a belly cut:

I really, really want one of these. They are incredibly comfortable. I don't really even notice the upper fret access since I have been playing LPs so long, but when I pick one of these up I sure to feel the difference.

I have not, but LOVE the back of the headstock!!!!

Yeah, me too. Shame it's only on CS guitars at this time. But the heel is the main selling point to me.
I'd even be interested in one of the HP models to get the heel if they didn't have those stupid metal nuts on them.

I need to play one...if nothing else, I want to use that headstock feature on my next custom build!!!!!!

Funny...I was looking around for a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio T Series in Black Cherry Burst, but cannot find one.

The description says, "Same neck profile as the original Les Pauls."

Then that should be .951" I think???
