Thanks once more. My main inspiration was the actual tortoise (hawksbill) pickguards of the early 1900s and Prince's Tele.

I have never added up the cost of any build. Saw dust is my therapy.

I have one in the finishing stages now. I have 5 coats on it of a new acrylic product. Hopefully this weekend it will be wet sanding at 600. Printing off some new sanding blocks to try out too.
