The Broom reference @ 9:10 HAHA KDH- Ed Roman content

Oh yeah, I did a search and could not find previous KDH threads. I think I saw one, but can't find. If Admins know where it is and want to merge my thread into prior one, I have no qualms if it is done.

I don't know why it bugs me so bad, but I really wish he would put his glasses on straight.

I can't stand it when mine are all crooked on my face like that lol

LOL I never have straight glasses when I wear them.

Construction work and straight eye wear are not compatible

My lenses won't correct my vision like they're supposed to if they're not aligned properly. If I can't keep them on straight, I'll just take them off. Cause I can't see jackshit like that anyway lol

HAHA this reminds me of a story my college roommate told me about a co worker of his when he was a union construction laborer. The fella always had one of his lenses of his safety glasses dirty, and even if mud got on it, he would not clean it off. Turns out he learned the guy was blind in that eye.

He also (I assume) did not take a tomahawk to the original body, only to replace it with _______ (fill in the blank)

No, not at all.

Kris built the guitars from scratch. It was this "fake" that Gibson cloned for their AFD guitar.

Kris was able to build guitars that even fooled Gibson historians.

It is said that his quality and attention to detail were beyond what you could buy from Gibson at the time.

Charlie Daniels had Kris build him a 59 Les Paul while Kris was working for a luthier in Atlanta, Georgia.

So, when you see photos of Charlie rocking a 59 Les Paul with Gibson on the headstock, it's a replica.

Before I ever knew you, @Robert Herndon , or Kris Derrig, or even Chinese Chibsons etc, I was curious about some guitars I saw Billy Gibbons playing in a concert video I own. On some forum somewhere, likely a Les Paul one, I posted a general question if any member might know the maker of Billy's guitar and Dusty's bass being played.

None other than Mark Erlewine personally replied to tell me he had made these.
