wow, this is what I'm driving... My idea of performance is getting 32 mpg on the freeway. I ain't the boss anymore.
I get just under 20 mpg when pulling a trailer. That auld trailer is a rescue.
She's a 1986 U-haul camper. Quite rare, actually. I had her at Discount
Tire and they cleaned up the wheel rims and installed new tires. From there, I dragged her to
a trailer repair place and she's in for new bearings and wiring. Then we'll work on the interior.
Maybe a boat shop would be able to do something.
Maybe we'll paint her "urban camouflage..."
>A boat is defined as "a big hole in the water into which you pour money." This trailer prolly qualifies.
B.O.A.T. stands for "break out another thousand..."
My little 07 Civic does just fine. Has just enough HP to get out of its own way. (Speed limits around me avg 40, so no need for speed) Avg 35 mpg. Fun to drive. Decent stereo. Came from factory with multiple speakers and a sub…. so if I desire, I can crank it to the point the outside mirrors vibrate.
That said….. would love to have anyone of those hot rods for a day and a country road with no one else on it.
