The Beatles “Get Back” Series

Perhaps many of you have seen advertisements for the Beatles ”Get Back”, by Disney+, pop-up while watching or when launching YouTube videos. We subscribe to Disney+ and I just finished watching each of the three parts. In total, it takes nearly eight hours to watch the whole thing. It is entirely genuine footage.

I highly recommend this. Seeing the highs and lows behind the scenes of the Beatles working toward this last public performance and studio album was incredibly fascinating and, frankly, reminded me a lot of the movie, “This is Spinal Tap”!

If you have Disney+, it’s really worth the time.

It’s basically a three-part documentary, of sorts. Almost all of the material is of the footage shot during the month leading up to their famous roof-top performance. The audio also became part of their last studio album, “Let It Be”.
