Finally I put the finishing touches on a 14watt 6CM6 amp that had been rebuilt so many times that I can't count, way more than a dozen. Here in it's final state it is a modified version of a Fender Brownface Princeton 6G2. The combo cabinet has a 12" Jensen Nighthawk speaker in it, Ostrich tolex made by Mojotone, oxblood grill.

The amp is a 14watt power section 6CM6, small 9 pin bottle variant of a 6V6, with the main circuit being a Princeton 6G2. I swapped the fixed bias for cathode bias, dumped the Tremolo from the original design, swapped the rectifier tube out to a 6CA4 9 pin, and added a 3 position NFB switch. Sweet, sweet brownface Fender cleans. Flip the NFB switch and it gets overdriven, flip it again and there is no NFB and it sounds a lot like a Tweed Deluxe raw tone. Really nice grab and go unit. Yeah I know I'm not going through those gates, especially for stealing brother Billy G's guitar name but that is the tone that rolls out of this amp.
