I know many people don't really realize how big Canada is and how varied the temps can be. For example, my province could fit the entire UK in it. That said, it's not thousands of miles. 1200 km from north to south.
For this time of year, we could get anything.
The low temp overnight in my province was in the north, -42° C. The south had the high temp at 15 ° C today. So a range of 57° C from north to south in 1 day!
As an absolute that is well over a range of 100° F !! Kinda crazy hey...
