Tele's only Club

Coupla Teles and T-types in my fleet too; have posted these elsewhere but just found this thread.

Pair of rockers. Gave the one on the right to my son coupla years ago. The one on the left is Raven; she now has a Tone Zone for Tele - nice and rich but rather hot for my taste. I have a Lil'59 T that I've been thinking about dropping in instead. Might miss that fatness though.

The Green Hornet. Neck pickup is a Twisted Tele, bridge is a Paul Bunyan T from Zhangbucker.

My sole remaining shredder, a set-neck Esquire Scorpion named Black Dragon. It breathes fire.

A Strelecaster, built by Meck. Named it Albatross - it really soars, and ranges over a large territory of tone.

Sundog, another set-neck with very nice sustain. Wound up getting a Duncan Quarter Pound set for this one. Extra grit & girth.
My only three-color sunburst right now. (Unless you count a Jimburst, which isn't really a sunburst at all.)

Plus a purple partscaster - I have Muy Grande pickups from Rio Grande waiting for when I finally get around to finishing her.
Doesn't show in the pic but the heavy Rutters bridge is a top loader.

Vanilla Gorilla (Squire Esquire) --now with added cahones (Thanks @Rob DiStefano !!!! ) thanks to a CAvalier NOCASTER HOLY GRAIL pup ;)

it seems my telecaster pics earlier in this thread are not loading properly from the host, so I am reposting uploadeds because: teles.
We love to poke fun at teles and rabid telecaster people. I agree we should probably learn to accept them for who they are, as hard as that might be.
Some of them even have a few redeeming qualities if you look deep enough.

I too have succumbed to modded telecaster madness in the past, and only feel a little bit dirty about it.

At this point I don't really care who finds out all my dark secrets of telecaster depravity.

Celebrate guitar diversity. Original style, or modded out like crazy, to me this grandpa of electric guitar design remains "The home of tone."

happy Sunday!

:H5:

I almost feel the same about Strats as well.
Yeah. I wasn’t much for Strats for a long time. When I played worship team it just seemed all the guys had Stats. Me being me, had to be different so my first electric was a G400. Really like that guitar.

Then I broke down and bought a Strat. I really like that guitar.

Just one look at this and its like it was forged in the outhouse of Hell's Half Acre

OK, I know it's some time later, but I'm just looking at this thread. Mmmmhh, let's see... Goat cheese with dates, fig marmalade, walnuts... caramelized bacon and some... thyme? May look like hell, but good mediterranean flavors are all there. Wouldnt say no as dessert pizza. As hipster as it may sound. :p

And since I wouldn't want my ladies to be left out of the yearbook:

Rita (MIM Nashville Tele Deluxe with Tex-Mex Tele and Strat pups)

And Halle (1996-97 Tele Plus V2 Lace pups: N Gold Lace Tele, M Gold Lace Strat Chrome Dome, B Gold Lace Tele Bridge) w/ switch to mix and match pup configs).

Since I have one now I should add my "real" Tele with the regular Tele pickups.

Still don't think it qualifies as a "real" Tele because of the short scale conversion neck, but it's as close as I'm gonna get.
