Tele's only Club

I don't trust hardware and hangers. I'm afraid of seeing a pile of guitars on the floor. After sooooooooo many years in the manufacturing sector, I trust nothing. Even when at times, I maybe should.
Ha ha... Life can be, and will be, cruel at times! Get over it by drinking more beer...

And my favorite here is the double P90... :2Thumbs:

Goat cheese, feta, olives both kinds.... yes indeedy doodaa. Pizzerific! Ham n mushrooms? Yeah but.... yawn... boooorrrring....

It's all about the sauce, and the correct blend of cheeses. The sauce must have a very well balanced blend of herbs. Sweet sauce is a no-no. Sweet toppings are even worse. And, that garbage they call pizza in Chicago is not pizza. Surprisingly, the best pizza I've had other than Italy, New York, and Boston, was in Mainz, Germany. Granted, it was a real Italian restaurant with Italians running the show. And also... sorry, but Greek style pizza(not very common outside of New England) is not really pizza because the box tastes better.

I have been discussing this Pizza thread with an Italian friend, and she said you lot should stick to playing guitar... :p

(She nearly hit me over the head with a guitar, fortunately it was a Gibson rather than a Tele, so I may have survived, when I suggested one evening that we order up a ham and pineapple deep pan pizza from Domino's.)

Yes, REAL Italian pizza is simple and delicious. But the savory pies we call pizza are still awesome. I stand by my ingerdient list. :sneaky: I think it is obvious that if one dislikes the toppings in general, it sure won't work on a pizza!!

Any thread combining pizza and telecasters?... Cannot resist.

You just need to play the FGN (a beautiful guitar by any measure IMHO) and get to know it, and bond with it. For me it is all about the sound, and the sound, and the sound. Looks are far down on the list.

I’m hurt. I’m better at making pizza than I am a guitar player. :pound-hand:

Why can't you have sound and looks too..:D

I've never bonded with a Tele.
Had one back in 75 -76 in high school. It was my first "real" guitar.
It got traded in on a Les Paul a year later and I never really wanted one again.
Then, when I was in my Parker infatuation stage, I bought one of these P38's.
Nope, not for me. It got traded on my first Mesa.
Some things are just not meant to be.

Took me YEARS to find one I liked---- wasnt the feel or shape---- it was the TWANG ...........tone....what have you

but the Esquire really blew my mind --- it sounds retardedly good through a Marshall...............pure metal crunch and squeel.......(great band name! Crunch and Squeal!)

Pizzas are like cars. There’s basic cars, fancy cars, sporty cars and god awful cars. Some like red, some hate red. Some like Fords, some like a Chevy.

So think of the dough and sauce as the transportation layer (chassis and wheels) the delivers the toppings (body, interior, engine) to your mouth. :dood:

I find your post discriminatory Don O, in your Brand names of vehicles you did not mention any Foreign makes. And remember pizza wasn't invented in America first..:D

OK, here’s a follow up, car brands = pizza toppings :pound-hand:

Dodge - Lamb
Mazda - Rotary Chicken
Nissan - Suishi
Hyundai - Kimchi
Audi -Brats
BMW - Lager beer (OK not a topping)
Alfa Romeo - Sprouts
Lamborghini - Italian sausage
Yugo- See post #84
MG - burnt spaghetti noodles
Rolls Royce - Grey Poupon
Peugeot - Brie

Opel - Insignia steak
Toyota - Pepperoni
