Adrian,, I was listening to this clip you posted.

Not sure, but does anyone hear a little Neil Young's Needle and the Damage Done -esque sounds, when he starts noodling amplified?

Norm, you mentioned another guitar that cost like 679 US and it would cost you $900 something CDN. Are Godins cheaper in Canada or would they also be a few hundred higher than we could buy em here in the US?

To give you an example This Godin Session HT is $699CDN, Sweetwater price $599, not sure if this is a Sale price or the regular. Chilli Sweetwater MSRP $780 Sweetwater savings $180, so Sweetwater price $599. I am sure Sweetwater has volume buying, so they can sell possibly lower than mom and pop shops . So in this case you can buy $100 dollars cheaper than I can.

I really like the sound of the '50-'51 Nocaster pickups in the video Plexi linked to the Custom Shop Broadcaster. I'd really like to see the schematic that they're using, and try it on mine. Mine sounds good, but I'd like to get something less muffled with the neck pickup in the first position of the selector.

Not a real Broadcaster, but fun sounding just the same.

I got the White one way back around 2012 when these coast about $279 and no Butterscotch A5 Magnet pup ones were made., If you wanted A5, you got the Sunburst version.
My Blonde one sounds so good, I kept the stock pups but replaced the electronics with American Standard Switch, Pots, knobs etc. They are just better units and felt better too.

MAN I love that Chimey ring Shane gets out of this Tele.

Norm. Check out that last clip. Normally I would buy USA guitars, but for my first Tele, I had limited budget and at my mom and pop shop I like to support., I got my Blonde tele for $279 US. I will not ever sell this guitar, it sounds and feels so right.

Much like I became friends with you guys because of guitars, I also became friends with this fella and another sweet lady friend of his from up in Canada. Robert is from Scandanavia but now resides in Alberta I believe.
He made his same Classic Vibe sound so good, I couldn't help be inspired to get 1/2 as good as him.

The Squire sounds good Chilli, the Squire line has been improving. I had a Squire Affinity Strat I bought 5 years ago, for $275 bucks and that included a strap and a 10G SS amp. Came in a package deal. Started out with that guitar it worked well for me for my first year and a half. I sold it to a friend two years ago, and he loves it. He plays mostly acoustic, but he wanted a descent electric so I sold him mine.
