Swirl marks

As you know many of us own black guitars which get a few swirl marks. So I am wondering if I can use Maguire's swirl remover to take out these light marks, any suggestions.

I've used it on a fiberglass tonneau cover that was clear coated with good results. Have not tried it on a guitar.

I used it on my siclecaster but I would try it on something that is covered first.

Liquid Ebony. Used it on all my black cars.

Carnuba wax will mask them.
