sweEt USA strat 250.00 (Happy Ebidis)??

welp....I have 2......sold the MIM Fender .....didnt need it -- the usa OLD arse peaveys are better (and COST LESS!)

There's a Predator for sale here for 290 EUR. Considering you probably could haggle him down a bit, it's a ridiculous price for a "Crafted in USA" instrument. I'd buy it if I was right handed.

I didn't get along very well with my last guitar teacher but I always thought his T-60 that he had played exclusively since the late 70's (and apparently did until his death a couple years ago) was kinda cool.

we aims to please ;)
PV was one of the first to mass produce guitar necks with automated fret installation machines.
It presses all the frets in at the same time.
Then it does the whole leveling etc at the same time by robots.
At one time they were making plastic necks, I donno about now...

But I do know that the bridges are not actually chromed - it's painted.
Pretty convincing fake chrome though. It had me completely fooled.

I tried to solder a ground wire to the under bottom of the bridge plate, and the paint peeled off.
I was like, oh poop this is painted. o_O I had no clue.

The one I had I picked up for $75.00. The guitar itself was quite well built, at least on par with a higher end Mexican Fender. The electronics were absolute crap. The bar on the ceramic pickups was falling off of two of the pickups. Someone had tried to glue them back on. The pots were really cheap crap. I picked up a loaded stock MIM Fender pick guard and installed it. It was a good player that sounded like a MIM Strat. For a $100 investment it was a very nice player. I ended up giving it away to a local kid who was a decent beginner with no money.
