Acid reflux can cause it. Only surgery cures it. I have to drink a lot to get the food down, or I'll choke. They stick a tube down to stretch the esophagus.

I have narrowing, ulcers and scar tissue from severe reflux. If I don't get it taken care of it could lead to throat cancer and I ain't testing that theory!

They have to fix the valve that keeps the acid in my stomach where it belongs...

They've already stretched my esophagus once about 6 weeks ago. This time surgery is also being done.

Acid reflux is just plain nasty. I feel like one of them Alien creatures from the movies, when that corrosive craap comes up to the surface! No wonder them Alien creatures are always pist off!

In 13 days I go in for a type of surgery too

I'm getting a vasectomy, I don't want any more surprises lol

Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't trade them back for anything in the world....but no more surprises for this guy...

The doc prescribed me some Valium to take before I go in though so I imagine I'll be alright.

If you guys have any horror stories about vasectomies....just intercourse save it until I am done please...

Do you have a Barretts esophagus? That really needs to be treated although the odds of it being cancerous are slim.
No sugeries here, the wife has had a few. The big brain one in 2016 was the scariest by far. You'll do well, mate!

Nah it wasnt that bad. Painful,of course for a few days afterwards, granted amd an awful spot to be painful. But no biggie. Fairly fast procedure. Just don't overdo it when you get home.

Yes, that is what I have. Hopefully this will fix me up!
