Very poignant.
It sadly reminds me of my Chicago childhood in the 60's & early 70's.
The urban flight to the suburbs to escape integration of neighborhoods, and the raging conflict in South East Asia...
Marches in neighborhood parks, Nazi rallies, riots, looting.
Unfortunately 50 years later, not much has changed.
Few guitarin' dudes rock less than I, but truly, your comment gives me a glimmer of hope LOL
Thank you all for the listens and comments. I've been casual song assembler for many years, I'd rather do this than cover tunes
but its cover tunes that pay the bills for a LOT of folks. Good thing my table doesn't depend on my musicality.
The little synth break for "Everybody" was fun to come up with something that would stand-in for the actual lick, but didn't take all my
concentration away so I could hit into it while trying to carry a vocal note. I struggle with things like that.
Mad respect to artists who can play lead bits and sing at the same time.
Great song brother
Love your work and I appreciate original music more than the next.
My music and playing has never paid the bills for me.
But I do enjoy it.
Thanks for posting your work.
