I have a set that came installed in one of my Gladiators…they’ve been there for a decade…I have no plans of changing them. They’re kinda their own thing, and it’s a good thing IMO.

I have had some success finding nice sounding inexpensive pickups, but I have had even more success making decent sounding pickups sound better with magnet swaps. Mick Manlius winds some really cool P90s…but they’re $90 each…not a bad price IMO, but a little higher than you asked for…
