Stumbled Onto Something:

No. I currently dont have any simulation.
I would recommend that you at least give it a listen before moving on.

I'm using a Hotone cab clone, ir pedal, inline to my interface from the d.i. on my Weber MiniMass. Sounds really nice, plus the pedal comes with hundred or so cab/ speaker sims, power amp, mic, position simulator. Also able to load your own.

@Robert Herndon
Glad you found a new and interesting perspective; some of you guys have so much experience and I would think it is nice to find a fresh view to experiment with.

I really have no idea what most of this means.
The parts I understand - and thought about the title too - was tripping over dogs- they always seem to be either underfoot or in front of me.
the Pink Taco line is hilarious, taken out of context (of course).

I am ignorant on this subject
Could you use some sort of a Y cable at the FX send from them Marshall to your recording interface?
Now you all can laugh and point out my flaws, but in my first sentence I did say I am ignorant on recording

Hey Robert,

Are you using any type of cab simulation with the Weber d.i.?

I use my line out frequently on my Mini Mass, but it's useless without some sort of cab emulator ( e.q. really)

Very good point. The CabClone is primarily a cab simulator (hence the name I guess) and it does a really convincing job of sounding like a real speaker load. Even has open back and closed back options.
