Struggling with a TITLE

The Freeway Classic became Godin’s most popular model almost immediately following its release. Critics admired the Freeway’s, “expensive custom guitar looks” and “big, balanced sound”. Grabbing the satin-finished, rock maple neck is akin to sliding into your favourite sneakers. But aside from great looks and feel the Freeway scores high marks in the guitar/workhorse department. The hum-single-hum configuration of the Godin pickups produce a broad spectrum of tones, including; big humbucker crunch, wailing Blues, and clean chime-like sounds—to name a few. The Freeway SA (synth access) takes all of the versatility of the Freeway Classic and adds synth/computer access via a built-in 13-pin connector, courtesy of the revolutionary Ghost pickup system installed in the bridge. The Ghost system is made in Canada and uses a proprietary harmonic dampening system that results in superb tracking. Godin’s pioneering designs in guitars with synth access have led the industry and the Freeway continues the tradition establishing new benchmarks for response, ease-of-use and affordability.

Thank you Wav. I am sometimes amazed myself-- this is one of those times-0- I KNEW based on the previous Godin they were GOOD -- but this -- this is more than I expected.
has a couple dings and bangs-- but......who cares it sounds and plays as good as anything out there at 4 times the price

This what I keep telling you Adrian, You have learned my Boy , there are a few of you hear now that own Godin guitars, Congrats to those who have!! These are all I need.DSC00237.JPG

Godin did a market assessment back in the spring, They have since then raised there prices. I have always said they have been selling them for too low a price. when I purchased my Summit SG back in February I picked up this guitar and played it it was fantastic !! just like my other Godins. The feel the quality of the build the fit and playability is better than the big name brands. I'm not afraid to tell you what I paid for it cause I wont be selling it. I purchased it this year for $675 CDN I couldn't believe the price and when I played it I had to have it especially at that price, so I bought it. Well after I purchased it the next ones coming into the shop were being sold for 1,033 dollars, every shop I went too was selling them for over thousand dollars. I would have still paid a thousand dollars for this guitar if I had too, its worth every penny and more for this guitar. And the prices are still below the brand names. If you buy any Godin guitar today new, you will pay nothing less than a thousand dollars and up. My buddies are envious of me for the price I lucked out on this guitar she's a keeper for sure.

This guitar is some SWEET!!! and just kicks you know what! They no longer make this Core CT its discontinued why you ask. Like many Godin guitars they keep improving and advancing their guitars so they continue to come out with new models. There is nothing wrong with the discontinued models thay are high quality well playing axes. Godin is innovative in their thinking and always looking at improvements, the Brand names should be doing this but they haven't been. Anywaythat's another topic. This video is self explanatory. if you ever get a chance to pick up a used Godin like this one grab it up fast. If you haven't tried Godin guitars you are missing out in my opinion.https://youtu.be/T5x1SzgbviU
