I see Mexico!!!!
I sure got lucky with that 1/4 x 1/4 inch chiseling of the skunk stripe just next to that anchor which showed me the anchor was loose enough to extract and expose the end of the rod. No major surgery other then to remove the wood plug in head stock and then the process of driving the T rod out the head using an allen wrench and hammer to drive it up via the anchor pocket access.

Robert, I would not mind that neck for my Starcaster. It has a Strat body and kinf of like an arrowhead' spear like head stock. It is a decent neck but one of those narrow width nut types.
Honestly, the Warmoth Super-Wide is the only way to go...but this Musikraft was only $40.00
The only problem with that idea is the Warmouth neck would cost more than the guitar.
OOPs Revise that, I also believe the string spacing would be off. I would likely need a different bridge and tailpiece/trem than the Metric one to accomodate wider string spacing.
U stole the Musikraft, it goes for at least $195 on their site.
Nope. Neck width at the heel is standard Fender.
Yeah, but how does an Affinity or Squier with metric el cheapo trems match up to American SAE specs? Same spacing? I realize the heel and neck pocket may fit properly, but will the saddles be sort of askew?
