Does the string height after have an effect on your bridge pickup or just raise up ?

If you do it, just measure your pickup heights (both of them) before to shim so you can adjust them to the same distance to the strings as they are now.

Turn the volume up loud.
Now strum the springs with your fingernails.
What do you hear?
