Well the parts have probably traveled the globe & are here finally. Took 1 week, not bad. Have done loaded pickguards before & know how to set up pretty good. Never did a neck. The neck started it, on CL for $15, took a chance. Inspired by Sp8 he is doing a blackout also, cool thread goin on there. Well here we go, 2 problems ..notice the black input jack i ordered ? Not ! the studs for bridge were set up for a Wilkinson trem. . Not sure where to put the cell phone, but at least its black.Stratbuild1.jpg

A Strat and all it's parts has to be the easiest thing ever since the Telecaster to build.

Here if I ever set up to build a guitar, I am likely to wind up building it from rough sawn lumber that I shape and build myself right down to the neck. It might not be the fastest or most cost effective when one factors in the labor costs, but it will definitely put my skill level into the chalk up another skill I put in my toolbelt.
