That site is very popular here. They do have lots of good stuff but sometimes they don't seem to figure out the songs "note by note" and do some adaptations that sound too... uhm... Brazilian to my own taste.

You listen and you just know that the song is ok but not entirely true.

I love the Lick Library lessons when I can't get past a lick or a solo.

Oh and if you need a Hendrix source, Andy Aledort is your man.

Yeah, musicians have kind of an “accent”... which varies according to the musical background they bear.

I think one of the reasons to explain why the Brits made such great blues/rock music is that they didn’t really have a strong attachment to a particular style of their own.

Brazil has a very distinctive music and some very comprehensive styles. Samba, for instance...
