IMHO there will never be a band that has such sheer brilliance, and longevity as the Stones. Micks vocals and entertaining, captivating stage presence. As he parades around the stage with high energy, which those half his age or younger wouldn't be able to keep up with the 80 year old.
Then you have Ronnie and Keith, great guitar players feeding off one another, doing Rhythm and lead. Keith so smooth and just so darn cool while he plays. Ronnie with a bit of comedy moves here and there. These guys are so just in tune with each other.
And even though Charlie is no longer with us, his drumming skills will be with us forever.
When these guys leave the stage, it will be a sad day around the World. The band who will probably go over 60 years, who has continued with timeless music, and entertaining millions upon millions of die hard Stones fans over decades, from young to old.
To have a Band that's had such a long run , and being able to keep up with changing times, is short of phenomenal.
