Song Pong

It doesn’t
@Mitch Pearrow SJMP
I had a day off...mowed some lawn...grilled some food.....drank some beers(5ish)...and played with my iPhone7.

It worked well with the USB adapter, and my cheap, sh!++y, ART USB DualPre. Too bad I didn’t work too well...but hey...
Here’s a snippet....

Guitar, bass, and vocals...original tune...a couple of decades old...mellow.
It doesn’t play for me

I was just exploring alternative presentation methods....
It was quick. It was dirty. It was sloppy, as I am...
Vocals were done on an SM58.
Guitar was done with an Audix I5.
Bass was plugged direct.
Lots of reverb to sweeten the vocals...
A little compression to keep things level and smooth.

Just went through the clips I have and couldn't find any of them long enough.

What kind of time length should we work with?

If you want to record track by track...multitrack stuff I use this...

I made this on an iPhone 4s, in my living room...
You can use the iPhone mic, and plug in headphones to monitor etc.
Or use something like Wav mentioned...my recording was done with an Apogee Jam.

I’ve also just used it to record events, and rehearsals.

That's great work Don!!! Very well done Sir!!!

Person one would lay down a track, person two would add a second track, person three would add a third track.

For example person one plays rhythm
Person two plays lead
Person three plays bass
Person four plays drums
Person six plays digeridoo
Person six plays harmonica

With a DAW like Audacity, each person can play on a separate track mix and match the tracks as desired. Cover songs or original music.
