Like I said, I’m really glad y’all liked it so much. My friend is an awesome guy but he’s very critical in a constructive way. I’m used to doing instrumentals and making songs that have a bunch of changes so it’s been a while since I made a traditional constructed song. Also was trying to make it easy to do vocals to, on that I’m not sure if I succeeded but time will tell, so I decided to use the 7 string on this one tuned to drop A. For me the challenge, like I said was trying to make a more traditional song but one that didn’t feel repetitive,

The other concern was the second half of the solo. I’ve always considered myself more of a lead player but in a more melodic sense, not really a shredder as I feel like I lack a lot in the technical department. I mainly decided to use the wah because of how heavy that verse riff is and I wanted to make sure the lead guitar cuts through and the whole “I’m my own worst critic” thing jumps through with thinking “was it too over the top?” “Does it add or take away to it?”

Sorry, I thought I replied to your comment already, been a hell of a week.

Honestly, I don’t even know who that is, tried doing a quick look up on iTunes and the only thing I found was a rap artist :p
