ODDLY with all that AIR under the PG -- it still weights a TON!

"Resinwood" is heavy chit man

so all back together -- ground connected-- and scratchy gone......what a classic ODD BALL this is

thanks jtees--

AND WELCOME to the madness....

many of mine are "odd balls" and weirdos like he SOnex -- I find them much more fun--just if not MORE functional-- ( and WAY CHEAPER to buy) than the "traditional models" :)

I dig it. Have always had a weird attraction to these guitars. If I run across one in good condition like yours one day I will probably pick it up.

I like the odd/off Gibson stuff - the Sonex would be a cool guitar to have in the personal guitar herd.

Most my herd is oddball stuff.....apples dont fall far from the tree!!! lol

I highly recomend it Gball-- its a quirky blast of fun for sure --- mines bone stock great low frets-- thicker than my USUAL neck preference but still playable for me-- zero complaints its a proper Gibbo with as much --maybe more lester sustain........................reeeessssoooonnnnnwwwoooodddddddddddd

Best sustain of any guitar I have ever played is Firebirds.

I sold mine in 1998. Mine was a black Sonex 180 deluxe. I think I still have a dent on my knee where that thing sat during the time that I played it. Dense is the word I would use to describe it.

lol-- well the "fugly" goes away when I look at the current selling price----- and know I can double the $$$ I put in that big pickguard and ugly headstock logo just look like GREEN to me ;)
