Something Missing

I never saww or used that button. Doesn't the thread automatically open at that location? I am looking on the back end, but don't see it

Heh users never like change...

You can't configure this. However you can teach them that if they really want to go to the last post, they can click on the date of the last post in the right-hand column.

Now, unlike their previous software, they have 4 choices:


  1. Click on the title to go to the first post in the thread if they haven't read the thread
  2. Click on the title to go to the first unread posts if they have previously visited the thread
  3. Click on the date below the title to go to the first post in the thread (whether or not they have visited the thread previously)
  4. Click on the date in the right-hand column to go to the last post in the thread.
More choice is a good thing (once they have been educated on the options) as then everyone can use their preference rather than be forced to use only one option. :)

I cant copy and post .gif animations; they post in as static .png image files.
Like I mentioned to Ray, its part of my Schtik!!

I have always used the New Posts button, out of sheer laziness and ignorance.
Too many choices, like amps with too many pots and switches, quickly overwhelm me.
 
I have disabled the ability for people to copy text and images from this forum. This was done in an effort to prevent people from stealing content and images from our membership. We do have the quote feature available that will copy and paste from and to this forum posts.
