I'm resurrecting this thread, because I recently bought that B-stock Harm 1 "shown" in the OP. The pic is Rondo's stock photo for all of the Harm 1 Burls they sell, not the particular ones sold, and not this particular B-stock.
I wanted to try an Agile "just because". I have a lot of really nice guitars including Gibsons and Fender USA models, so I do know more expensive guitars. But I also have a soft spot for MIK models, and have some that are quite impressive, especially for their price point.
I've had my eye on the Agile 3200 LPs, liking the neck-thru, 3/4" caps, ebony boards, etc. Just waiting for the right one to show up in hopefully the $350 range?
Meanwhile this B-stock Harm 1 showed up on my radar, and the Rickenbacker look along with that burl top at $389 tripped my trigger.
I knew not to expect that fabulous top shown in the pic, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the top on it is. Really nice! Anyway, the B-stock imperfections are quite tolerable to me, and quite honestly are not that noticeable. I llike the feel and the sound. Good resonance unplugged, and it has the expected jangle type sound one expects from toasters. Needs a good setup to really get it into top playing shape, but so far so good. Chalk up *another* good MIK model!
