Some Video from June

Awesome, Jethro!! Always fun to watch you, even though I didn't get the spin this time. Your singer seems like a good front-person there. Nice!!

Thanks! I just picked and chose stuff. They were in there somewhere...
Looks like you were all having a pretty good time. “Born to be Wild”…… that and “Magic Carpet Ride” were a couple…. Shall we say driving songs when I was a kid. As in. Us idiot kids got even stupider when they came on the radio or 8-Track.

Was a real good time. Those songs were um... somewhat before I go tinto music.... fun to play tho and easy to get together quickly. We never really practice as we live in different cities.

Well….. both Steppenwolf songs were released in 68…. The year I started HS, so they were still relevant when I got my license in 1970. I am old you know.

A video compilation from my Whiplash band show in June. Just mostly crowd participation stuff. Some fun guitar stuff with the Sustainiac at 3 min in. It does really cool things with harmonics and whammy! Was a great crowd. I am stage Left

Nice stuff Jethro.

You always look like you're having a great time. And you know how much I like the band.

Looks like a lot of fun.

So when are you folks going to be doing a show in Arizona? Be a perfect place for you Canucks to warm up during the Winter.

Hell, y'all can stay at my place. Lol

Prolly too long a drive pulling a trailer... could fly in if there was backline... but of course, no one knows who we are.
Would sure be fun tho!

I need to post some pics I think.

Off the top of my head, this includes rehearsal space, my house, and the other guit players house.

We have an original early 60's Ludwig drum kit, Vintage and current Les Pauls, vintage and current Stratocasters, Re-Issue SG, ES 335, Telecasters, G&L Guitars, Martins and Larivee's.

Vintage and Current Marshall's, Fender's and Vox. too many cabs to list, we have plenty. Pedals and rack effect stuff.

For the Bassist, we have Rickenbacher, Gibson T-Bird, Fender P Bass partscaster. Marshall vintage Bass tube amp, various 10", 12", and 15" cabs. Whatever the bass dude has on his pedalboard?

Lots of SM 57's, stands, and a bitchin Peavey tube amp P.A., with a more modern backup by Mackie, Fender etc...
We will find transportation and roadies! Lol

We can, and have fielded a couple of bands at once.

Pretty sure I can line up some gigs from previous venues, and your YouTube vids.

Then swing over to @Mitch Pearrow SJMP neck of the woods. You guys will have a ball, you can combine with a vacation.

I have the time- newly retired and all. This is Snowbird central, everyone visits for vacation.

What time can we expect you guys for dinner tomorrow? Lots of ice cold refreshment. Lol

Well guitars would come with us for sure. As they all have families, realistically even hypothetically would be a one day trip.
Find a good venue w house PA and supplied backline.... technically would be possible. Play with another band, overnight n back next day. Need passports.... :D

Kinda kidding but in theory....

Like I said We have a backline.

You can come out for the tamale party.

We pick a Sat in Dec., set up a backline in my buddy's barn, The ladies spend all week making homemade tamales, all the local working bands show up and it's an all day party.

End up playing with a few different bands. Eat and play way too much, but fun as hell.

Of course that's if you can stand our cold winter temps. Lol.

Always welcome, anytime!
