THOUGHTS?????

the holes in the headstock are NOT functional with the modern tuners------

I do NOT have a drill press-------

suggestions?
tips?
tricks?
THoughts?
Tapered hand reamer. Available at any hardware store for under $10. You will use it more than you think. Go from one side, then the other , then fine tune the middle if necessary. Use the tape trick to mark the desired size hole. I have used this on head stocks many times. I also use this to ream out jacks plates, PG holes, etc. It is a handy tool

Very cool! Nice job eSGEe !

I gotta say --I was even surprised how well it played------ so much soi I CONSIDERED offering him a fair sum for it or something else in trade and keeping it!!! it was that good after completion.

HE had a friend play it whos played for many years and told him it felt like a 500.00 guitar--- the guy died when he told it was 25.00 at a yard sale-- and then repaired and set up by "some old guitar guy in Lakeland" !

BUWAHAHAHAHHAH ITs true I have reached mythical "some old guitar guy in Lakeland" status! THe royalties and cameo spots on movies MUST surely follow!!!!
