Some of the Music that Raised me

During the mid 70s, as a youngish mid-teen, I was using headphones to listen to & absorb albums such as,
Wings Over America
Grand Illusion
Out of the Blue
Frampton Comes Alive
News of the World---One of my top 5 rated, for the "B"side tunes.
And others...
Cassettes of VH1 & 2
The Cars

After my teen years, I graduated to Yes & Rush & everything Zep.

MelBay taught me the "cowboy" chords. Those get occasional use still.

Probably my earliest memory is hearing Do It Again on the radio when in the car with my parents, so I would have been about three years old. It must have been on a lot for me to remember that.

Jeez. Where do I start? My listening experience as a young teen and not so young teen was rather eclectic.
Grand Funk
Rare Earth
Steppenwolf
Chicago
Blood Sweat and Tears
CSN&Y
Especially Y

Throw in some
Black Sabbath
Deep Purple
Alice Cooper
ELP
The Who - Primarily “Tommy”

And for fun
Herb Alpert
Tommy James & The Shondells

What I didn’t do was Beatles and The Stones.

That barely touches the surface. Counting vinyl, cassette and CDs, I have several hundred albums. Which also includes the masters like Mozart, etc.

Told you it’s eclectic.

Death Magnetic was the last cd I bought a ways back. I liked some of it. The disc got stolen from my car. I did not replace.

The thumb drive I use for long trips has quite some eclectic stuff, no Beatles because they didn't have that hard drivin groove for when you're literally hard driving.
