Thanks Smitty-- I have a big word DICK-tionary -- I just dont like to read.....
I also am continually offended by the GIBSON stance that Im apparently NOT CAPABLE of KNOWING the difference between a Gibson and a Dean,Framus, etc etc...
I "get" the crack dopwn on TRUE fakes-- CHibsons etc. -- as yes that is "wrong"-- yes I know I have owned several--
And YES I "GET" where newbs...or NON gear junkies like us on the forum-- would see a CHIBSON and GO WOW that is a gorgeous les paul and ONLY 100.00!!! what a DEAL! and --- buy it---and THAT -- is wrong--
BUt the continued implication by Gibson that people cant TELL the difference between guitars openly MADE and Marketed and LABELED by "other" manufacturers is becoming down right insulting----
IF your AT the Framus DEALER--- looking at a Framus "V" -- (*that aint CHEAP mind you) and it says FRAMUS on it --- come on!? you KNOW your not buying a Gibson
IF your on REVERB buying a 159.00 "DEAN V metal man GUITAR" --- you KNOW your not buying a GIBSON ........
Gibson stop insulting us -- work with the Govt and customs to STOP the true fakes and move on the rest is just making you look bad.
