Interesting pup setup. I once had a great Schecter Model T bass that had an EMG P and J arrangement in it.

About a year after I sold it, I emailed the buyer to see how he liked it. His reply was, " If it means anything, I just recorded an album with it."

Don’t have a reference. It’s what came installed when I bought the bass and stupid me barely ever plays it.

My youngest plays bass. Is pretty good at it. He played mine for a while before getting his own. He always made it sound good.
 
Damn. I have the SD quarter pounder P/J set in my bass. They make it seem like a huge difference on that forum.
