So....whats "vintage" ???

As noted, the term “vintage” comes from the world of winemaking. Multiple areas of interest have appropriated the term, such as cars, musical instruments, etc.

However, the definition which @BFT Gibson posted above ( So....whats "vintage" ??? ) is pretty interesting, and is the way I‘ve sort of understood things, too.

Notice that a “vintage” item requires more than just the characteristic of age. It requires the characteristic of commonly recognized desirability and quality. It tends to focus on a time period of particular interest - not just being old.

Im refraining from an obvious "my winkie" joke here.....really I am .......really...........I am..........sorta.........not really ....buTT sorta......(OH HOW DOES HE DO IT!?!?!)

Im a vintage antique RIOT! OH!

This is no lie, I just read this post, then began watching a "Vintage" movie on Prime. It is called Catch 22. Just as the opening credits show the main cast members, it proceeds to a group of cast members. One I recognize is Norman Fell. I read some others and take a double take to make sure I read this next name right. NO LIE, it says. PETER BONERZ

HAHA now I remember him too. He was on Bob Newhart.

Which reminds me, I worked with a Peter Butt once.
And back on topic. I was huntin a sander on ebay, ran across some vintage ones,

Hackmaster do you remember this guy?
Can't say that I do, we went for beer & to meet chicks.
It was all dirt track stuff. Local tracks & county fairs.
The figure 8's were best at the county fairs.
When the real stuff was over, the local boys would tear it up, ending in a demolition derby...
Wern't that hip on who was who, just remember hearing Dick Trickle over the tinny loudspeakers and laughing every time.
Our whole group of idiots would crack up.
We amused easily. Still do.
