So What is a Man to do . . . .

I put my mule skinning area right over a big floor drain where I have the two pullies. Next to the hose that off area. My trap repair section is over by my acoustic guitars.

Had my follow up with the Surgeon today. I go back to work next week light duty for 4 weeks.
All I take for pain management is 1000mg of Tylenol once a day. Life is getting better.

No work on the amp today, will make up for it tomorrow.

OK so here is the progress so far, hope to mount and populate the main turret board this weekend.
I am thinking I will mount the filter caps on the under side instead on top under the cap cover like Fender likes to do.
My bias circuit is on the main turret board so why not hide the filter caps also. It's a real pain working with 1 and 1/2 arms. Thats why progress is slow.

Very nice! My progress would be slower with 2 arms!

Great news!

"Light duty"... I'm very familiar with that term. What does that entail for you?

It means I am confined to a desk doing reports and paperwork, or if I am lucky going out in the field to oversee contractors. Which is pretty much all I have done for the past 6 months anyway.
I have been busy training the person who will take my place when I retire in July.

Great news! ChasFred that you're on the mend. Looks like your project is moving along nicely. Hey that's Great news as well that you are Retiring soon!! For me its the best job I ever had.

Very good nothing as fun as building your own amp. You may wish to put carpet on your bench or build a amp cradle Amp Cradle for $20

Thought about the carpet thing but it would catch all the little wire trimmings, I do have rubber gasket material I may use though. That amp cradle is a real nice design. If I do another amp, or get back into repair work I will build this. I have it bookmarked. Thanks

The workbench was given to me from a friend who worked at a print shop that got new benches. It is also my reloading bench.
