So I Decided to Build a Pedal (Collection) Board...

What kind of mod is in that DS-1?

I have a vintage DS-1 that I sent to Keeley Electronics for their "Seeing Eye Mod". I haven't plugged into that pedal in years. It's time to revisit it... :hmmm:

Well...I’m thinking that looks like a DS-1 I put into the Gear Swap Box. If it is the one I put in, it is a pedal I modded several years ago with the Monte Allums Tri-Gain mod.

It is. Have yet to hook it or any pedals up. Too damn busy!

I am quite well thanks.
Lost some weight.
Bought a guitar.
Bought an amplifier.
Built yet another pedalboard.
etc.

Love to hear your thoughts on essential pedal types and order of placement! This is new for me and I was going to go cheap...but that never happens!

Here is my current list of pedals:

BOSS TU-3 Tuner
Morley Volume Pedal
Keeley Compressor Plus
EHX Soul Food
BOSS DS-1 Distortion
noiseKICK FX Reagan Fuzz
Gemini Chorus
Walrus Audio Lillian Phaser
Wampler Faux Tape Echo V2
TC Electronics Hall of Fame 2 Reverb
Joyo De-Seed II
Joyo American Sound

Just don’t forget who you’re talking to!

Tony M. doesn’t need pedals; they need him. He only makes pedal boards because he takes pity on them and gives them a home.

For Tony, a “pedal order” is what it’s called when he tells a pedal what to do.

Your thoughts and advice are welcome as well...

So, this pedalboard - when is it gonna be built? You have all the parts, get down to it... :D

I've been too damn busy at work and I'll be out of town all next week! I did try some of the pedals last night. I just strung them in a line
and pushed buttons and twisted knobs. I think I'm going to like the end result when I figure this thing out!

Here is my current list of pedals:

BOSS TU-3 Tuner - (this can go anywhere, most suggested from all threads I read people prefer it after gains so no extra feedback but I have mine 1st and no issues)
Morley Volume Pedal - 1
Keeley Compressor Plus - 3
EHX Soul Food - 6
BOSS DS-1 Distortion - 5
noiseKICK FX Reagan Fuzz - 4
Gemini Chorus - 8
Walrus Audio Lillian Phaser - 2 for VH phase or before the chorus if not, also maybe before the compressor.
Wampler Faux Tape Echo V2 - 9
TC Electronics Hall of Fame 2 Reverb - 11 stereo out to 2 amps :p
Joyo De-Seed II - 10
Joyo American Sound - 7 (if you want to try and stack/boost the Soul Food into it)
Numbered the way I would set it up.
