Maybe. But I was really happy when I was able to sell It. It sounded horrible! In that time I didn't knew you could replace pickups on a guitar. Tuner stability was really bad. Bridge vibrato were a joke, lol.

I was trying for humor.I played a Gibson version in store but have no real recollection of my impressions. As this was 30 plus years ago.

Those guitars are really cool. I know they were originally made with the hair metal crowd in mind, but these days, I think the sheer quirkiness of its style would be great in a funk setting, too.

So Steve. It’s well documented there’s no love lost between you and Fender Strats. My brother in law and his wife are touring Ireland right now. He sent a photo of a Strat to my wife. No price tag…. But it’s a Waterford Crystal Strat….. You know you want one.

This was Stratish, it would have been great but the volume knob placement was in my way, I paid $200 for a minty MIJ Ibanez, I am always involuntarily turning the volume knob .
