I don't touch soda because of high fructose corn syrup, or aspartame. Sometimes in Europe, I may break down and have a Coke, because they have real sugar and are in glass bottles, not plastic.

The only carbonated stuff I touch is Gerolsteiner mineral water, or Fever Tree tonic water in my Gin and Tonic.

I have pretty much given up on pop as it has evolved into crap. I have a store about 20 miles down the road that gets Dew in glass bottles made with cane sugar. It is like sweet nectar. Otherwise, it's Coke Zero only on a road trip for the caffeine.

Luckily, Coca cola here is still sold in glass bottles and sweetened with sugar. Just like in Mexico.

We have a pretty good population of southerners (from south of the U.S. border) here, so I do see a lot of Mexican CocaCola around . I might have to check that out. It's also in glass bottles.

I used to prefer Classic Coke. I was upset when Max Headroom replaced it with New coke, worst mistake they ever made. When I found out I was diabetic, I started drinking Diet Dr Pepper because to me it did not taste like diet soda. My previous job had a soda 25 cent machine with Diet Coke, no diet Dr Pepper so my taste buds acclimated to Diet Coke. Now I buy it by the case at Costco.

the REALITY is they are trying EVERYTHING imaginable to GROW market share --- they have SATURATED the planet----got to the furthest small village in outer Africa--- show a COKE symbol they KNOW WHAT IT IS ----

only through GIMMICKS-- (and cannibalism of its OWN staff) and doing MORE with LESS can it survive ------

I was a hardcore coca cola guy for ages. Drank the ever loving out of coke. Still like it too....but I also like pepsi quite a bit too...it also depends on what I'm eating, I think. Cheeseburger? Coke please! Pepsi will do, but I'd prefer a coke. Pizza? I'll have a Pepsi with that! Cheap bottle of whiskey or rum? Just dump it in either, or whatever's on hand. So TL;DR: I'm good either way.
