So Anyway...

So anyway, got up at 3am to get on the road and continue my journey early early.

Then why am I still sitting in the hotel room at 7am??

So the question.
Is it because of ....

A) me?
B)A certain, remain nameless, someone else?

There is one clue to this sorted tail, and that is I am just sitting here posting on TTR.

The plot thickens

"B)A certain, remain nameless, someone else?" Haaa haaa, we understand!
Why is it that when a bloke goes on holiday usually a change of sox and underpants along with a phone and wallet, done, lets go.
The wife need a trailer on the back of the car.

So anyway, thanks all of you for sharing interesting bits of your lives.

Hate to be melancholy, but May has been very tough for me.

May 13 Mother's Day
May 14 Mom's Birthday
May 25 One year anniversary of her passing.

I knew it would remind me and I would have some sad thoughts reflecting on it.
But, man its really been on my mind and depressing me much more than expected.

Will try to shelve it tonight, first concert in about a year - John Fogerty / ZZ Top (which was ZZ Top and Greg Allman had cancelled as his health began to fail.) Foghat was one of the replacement acts, they were Great!
Calling for T-storms right around showtime; its an outdoor covered venue, PNC arts center.

Quite understandable, and your thoughts will get better. I'm sure there a bunch of us here at TTR, including myself, that are constantly dealing with our mom's moving on. But yeah, that first year was tough for me, too. Like I stated earlier: It'll get better!

Sorry to hear about your mother's passing jtcnj.:( I know how it feels since my mother passed away back in January 2015 two months before my wife's passing. Mother's Day was a bit of a drag for me also but I know she is in a better place now.

;>)/

So anyway... I woke up at 5 am and started transferring one of my clients web sites to another server. I also made a full backup of this TTR site. Around 11 I went to work on my car fixing it up where it needs some attention. One of the many items on my car to-do list is to repair the drip moldings on the roof. The rubberized coating was deteriorating and replacement cost for this dealer only item was over $300 for the pair.

I figured that I might as well take a stab at fixing these up. What did I have to loose? I pulled the passenger side off.

I used my orbital sander and removed the offending peeling rubberized coating from the aluminum underneath.

Sorry man -- wow has it been a year all ready!?!?!?

I'm a DIY type too. We are having 4 custom doors (fiberglass doors with composite frames) installed next month and I needed 10 new locks. Of course I want them all keyed the same. Local locksmith wanted $15/per. Watched a YouTube video on re-keying Schlage locks. Looked really simple. Bought a pin set on eBay and just re-keyed them today.
