There's some real cool poop out in Cali. I don't want to live in any coastal state, but visiting you bet.
 
So anyway, speaking of CA. We had to run an errand down the hill today but on the way back we drove up to the fire lookout station on Strawberry peak. They were now allowing visitors, just reopened it last week. We can see these towers from our home, they are about 1 mile away by way the crows fly from us. Just great views from 6200ft. You can see the mountains that are just north of San Diego, you can see Catalina island 85 miles away, you can see the high desert out to Victorville.

National and State parks there are spectacular, like Redwood National forest, Torrey Pines Park Yosemite national park, Catalina Island, Joshua tree National park. And there's tons more. I wouldnt live there though. Earthquakes suck and too pricey.
