So Anyway...

@Thatbastarddon sorry to hear of your predicament; all dentist office closed by decree of the Emperor, err I mean Governor here.

If it makes you feel any better, this is how I started my morning yesterday:
lol, misery loves company...

:( Another failed spring hinge...I’m sorry to see that.
Do you have a spare pair?
Best temporary fix is to insert the little dangling piece in to the temple, a little tape to hold it together, a paper clip or two toothpicks as a splint taped along the outside of the hinge/temple juncture to prevent overextension, and if you’ve got some of the right size...shrink tubing over the top...I use a hot soldering iron, not the tip..but the hot metal shaft, to shrink the tubing...carefully. Avoid getting the heat near the lenses...like wrapping the nearby lenses with a clean cloth. If you don’t have the shrink tubing, electrical tape seems to be a suitable substitute. The downer is that you can’t close the temple until you get a replacement.

DO NOT use glue...super or otherwise...near the lenses. Some people try...some succeed...many fail...the solvents for most glues destroy lenses.

Any questions, please feel free to PM me.

So anyway...
Not to quote myself, but....
So anyway......

Very disappointed!

It’s a crown that I had done 6 weeks ago...on a “live” tooth(no root canal) to repair a break.
This...most definitely defines the concept of “suck”.

Resolution is really going to test my social distancing skills.... :(:(

update: Fixed! Fairly smoothly too!

Good for you, dont need weathering this thing made any harder than it has to be.

Thx @Thatbastarddon.
I thought you might have some insight ( ;) ) regarding my glasses.
I have a spare but normally leave 1 pair at work and 1 home.
Both of these pairs are for computer use / distance.

I will try the splinting method for now. The chain eyeglass store I goto is closed.

OK SO that I know I am not imagining things. WHERE THE HECK IS IT?

I swear I read a thread or post someone made about Judas Priest being the first Heavy Metal band. and cited Stained Glass as the album that depicts this.

WHERE IS IT? I want to reply. Thanks, CHILI

PS someone mentioned What about Sabbath? And the reply was they still used Blues but Priest was like the first to have a different basis for their sound which brings the poster to state them as essentially the seed of Heavy Metal as we know it.
Maybe I was imagining that Judas Priest comment in the forum. My only guess is since I am pushing limits of fatigue due to sleepless nights caring for dad for nearly 16 of 21 nights since he was released from rehab, I saw it from someone on Facebook. Ok I'll never find it over there.

I was searching for some info on my Gtr Wrks Flat Five overdrive pedal. Owner and builder of Gtr Wrks is Mr Todd Lynch, out of Oklahoma. At the forum know as The Gear Page, Todd Lynch's username is Lucidology. Yesterday he started a thread regarding the current pandemic. Check out his opening post:

"We fell asleep in one world and woke up in another.

Suddenly Disney is out of magic,
Paris is no longer romantic,
New York doesn't stand up anymore,
the Chinese wall is no longer a fortress, and Mecca is empty.

Hugs & kisses suddenly become weapons, and not visiting parents & friends becomes an act of love.

Suddenly you realize that power, beauty & money are worthless, and can't get you the oxygen you're fighting for.

The world continues its life and it is beautiful. It only puts humans in cages. I think it's sending us a message:

"You are not necessary. The air, earth, water, and sky without you are fine. When you come back, remember that you are my guests. Not my masters."

Stay home, stay safe and healthy"

So anyway,

Someone please ring my phone, pinch me, or whatever it takes, but please wake me up from this nightmare. 43 people died in my county OVERNIGHT. The sad stories are getting too much to bare. Fear for my loved ones is overwhelming. Plus, I am sick of washing my hands!! It is still so hard to believe this is really happening.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Please stay safe because you all are among the loved ones I am worried for. Wash your hands, grab a guitar, and stay inside!
